  • 10 NOVEMBER 2011 - BLOOMING DIALOGUE PART II AT ROFFI!
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Blooming Dialogue at the Gallery at the Piano Factory in Boston in October. Joshua and I couldnt be happier with the outcome! The exhibition was a complete success. We really enjoyed seeing all our friends and meeting new ones, we had numerous sales and the exhibition was covered by artscope, The Beverly Citizen and Metro. Boston Home Decor Magazine borrowed some of our work which will be featured in their March 2012 issue and ROFFI on Newbury Street offered us an exhibition for the Month of December! They have two floors and we will be able to fit at least 30 pieces. Some will be from the original Blooming Dialogue exhibit, but we are also planning on including some new work, both collaborative and independent so I hope you will be able to make it. Stay tuned for details as the date approaches!

  • SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2011 - BLOOMING DIALOGUE AT THE GALLERY AT THE PIANO FACTORY IN OCTOBER!
The past 8 months have been extremely busy for me. My friend and artist Joshua Durant and I have been working on collaborative pieces for our upcoming exhibition in October, which we've decided to call BLOOMING DIALOGUE. Through the imagery of birds, flowers, geometric shapes and bursts of color we have created our own paradise and often include ourselves in the pieces. We are extremeley excited about this and are also delighted to announce that Anna Stothart, Assitant Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston will be writing the essay for our show invite/catalog.

We plan on exhibiting our series of collaborations as well as our independent work. I will show a new series of portraits and Joshua his expressive paintings of birds. I have also been working on this new series of portraits for the past 8 months and I consider these portraits to be a leap in my work. I have designed and cut two dimensional crowns for each specific portrai and I am adhering them to the main panel...sounds complicated, I know! I have included a couple of collaborative pieces above as a little preview. This is truly going to be an exceptional show, so make sure to save the date! Blooming Dialogue, 5 October - 30 October. Opening Reception; Saturday, October 8th from 5-9pm. Gallery at the Piano Factory, 791 Tremont Street, Boston MA 02118. If you wish to receive a show invite, please email me your address.
